Lake Sammamish is the sixth largest lake in Washington and the second largest in King County. It is a major source of recreation for fisherman, boaters, and water sports enthusiasts. There are both State, County and private parks along the shore, including:
| Lake Sammamish is 98 square miles or 4,897 acres. It has an average depth of 58 feet with a maximum depth of 105 feet and is 8 miles long. Its largest source of inflow is Issaquah Creek at the south end with its primary outflow at the north end via the Sammamish Slough.
